My little sister is probably the most directionally challenged person that I know. My dad has been teasing her for years and saying that she needs a Garmin GPS just to find her way out of the back yard. While it definitely isn't that extreme, it's close. Two years ago she wanted to go to the mall in the next city over, and she's been there countless times with other people, so I didn't think twice about her driving, until we ended up on the other side of the city and 20 minutes out of the way. It was hilarious and I told her that the next time I was bringing my Garmin GPS so that she could get a feel as to how the thing works, but she was resistant to the idea.

Mom and I can't figure out why she's so resistant to having a Garmin GPS, especially since all of us in the family have one. I use mine every time I travel anywhere that I'm not sure exactly where I need to go, and sometimes I use the Garmin GPS even when I know where I'm going, just to see if it will take me a different route than what I'm used to.

This year mom and dad are buying my sister a laptop for Christmas. She needs a new one and with it being her last year of college, mom and dad wanted to get her something that she could use once she graduated. I think her laptop she's using now is 6 or so years old and has definitely seen better days. The laptop arrived earlier this week, and while I was setting everything up, so that all my sister has to do is turn it on, I mentioned to mom about getting a Garmin GPS for my sisters laptop. Mom wasn't aware that there was a Garmin GPS for the computer, but I told her I'd seen it recently in a magazine so I would find one online and that would be my Christmas gift to her. Maybe that way my sister wouldn't be so resistant to the Garmin GPS if she had one in the computer that was pre-installed for her- After all she takes her computer with her everywhere, so she'd technically have the Garmin GPS with her at all times. I looked around online and was able to find and order Mobile PC with GPS 20x. Model - 010-00685-00 that I found at RB Wholesale Direct  whose online store can be found at www.rbwholesaledirect.com. Once the Garmin GPS arrives, I'll get everything set up on the computer, learn how to use the Garmin GPS, so come Christmas morning I can show my sister how simple it is. Maybe with the help of the Garmin GPS she won't get lost anymore.
