I Love Watching Vintage Movies On New Home Theater |

I am a huge movie addict! There is nothing I like more than watching a great movie. Some of the best movies ever made are what you would call vintage. Those incredible movies from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Watching them on my new home theater is even better. Of course, the new blockbusters like Transformers 2, Iron Man, Twilight, and Star Trek look great on my home theater, but I love seeing the new digitally remastered vintage movies.
It just seems like the older vintage movies have a much better story. You can get pulled into them much easier than the newer movies. Today it is all about the effects, the huge productions, and big name stars. With older movies it is all about the way the story plays out and the acting. When I first put in the home theater in my basement, I had a home theater "breaking in" party. What I did was invite several of our friends over for a movie marathon of our favorite movies. We took a poll of those who were going to be there of their five favorite movies. We put all the movies in a hat and then pulled out five of them. Those were the ones that we were going to watch for our home theater party.
The party was great! We had all of the movies already so we didn't have to buy any, or rent any. We made up a cool little order of movies for the night and sat down in our home theater room to watch some great movies. Since then, we've had a few more home theater parties, and they have all been a blast. The last one we had was a vintage action movie festival. I found a great website called RB Wholesale Direct at www.rbwholesaledirect.com. I was looking for some new movies one day and this site popped up on the search listings. I went directly to a webpage at the site that had a 100 PACK - ACTION movies. One hundred vintage action movies! That would be amazing for my vintage movie night. I bought the package of 100 movies and couldn't wait for the next home theater party!
When the DVD's arrived from RB Wholesale Direct I started to check them out on my own. I spent the next SEVEN hours watching incredible vintage movies! We just had our vintage movie night and everyone thought the new action movies looked great on the home theater. My husband loved the cake I baked in the shape of Beretta's car! What could be better than a vintage cake AND vintage movies on a home theater. |
