I have a mother who you might say is a bit old fashioned in the sense that she still likes to use paper maps to navigate her way around town. While this can seemingly help you find where you are going most of the time, you wouldn’t believe how often that my loving mother calls me up and asks me where she is, and how she can get to where she is going; she won’t even use the online mapping services. That being said, I have been trying to show my mom the value of having a really great Garmin GPS navigation unit in her vehicle.
To better demonstrate to my mother how easy it can be to find your way around town when you do have a Garmin GPS navigation unit in your car, like I do, I decided to take her for a test run. It also suggested different kinds of restaurants, and it even told me what places charged more than others, and even what their overall star rating was; man do I love my Garmin GPS navigation unit!
Needless to say, showing my mother the values of owning a Garmin GPS navigation unit was finally starting to shine through. She was very impressed with how easy to use my Garmin GPS navigation unit was, and I even asked her to start using it to activate the voice directional command features—which my mother loved!
