Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Warlords Expansion
From a young age I have been attracted to real time strategy games. These games are much different then the average shooter because for one they take a lot of time each match and two, it is more in depth then pointing and shooting. I would say the first thirty minutes of these games are about building farms, harvesting crops, mining minerals and exploring the surrounding territory. Once enough resources are created then game play turns military but players still have to make sure all those non-military tasks like collecting wood are still going on. It is a lot to think about, which is why I like real time strategies. Tactics and strategy are the keys to victory.

One of my favorite RTS PC games is called Civilization. Known through the RTS world, Civilization pits opponents against each other starting from a set time period, which then evolves as the civilization grows more powerful. For example, playing as Romans could start out in the post prehistoric era work all the way up to building wonders like the Coliseum and beyond into the future. The video above should give you a better idea of what this game is all about.
After having Civilization IV for a long time on PC, it sort of was put away amongst all the other video games I have. Recently new life was breathed into this classic after visiting RB Wholesale Direct at http://www.rbwholesaledirect.com/. As soon I as entered their homepage, there it was showcased as one of the featured products. Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Warlords Expansion is the only expansion available for this installment of the classic RTS franchise. For thirty dollars a lot of new add-ons are included into this expansion disc including a special character each civilianization has called a warlord which will bring invaluable military support to your attacks. There are also six new civilizations to choose from, new leaders, new wonders to build, new buildings for individual civilizations and patches for old game glitches to make the how experience more fluid.
After seeing the Warlords Expansion at RB Wholesale Direct, I decided to hook my laptop up to a LCD HDTV and home theater system to make the experience even more epic. I recommend trying this out for anyone who has a flat panel LCD HDTV and home theater. The battles sound way better over surround sound home theater speakers and the larger screen makes managing a civilization easier.
