home theater system, lcd hdtvThere are few things that get me so amped up for free but sports especially great football games have a knack for doing just that. A great NFL game like what we saw yesterday when the Minnesota Vikings (vid below) hosted the Baltimore Ravens can turn a pigskin fan out of anybody especially if all the hard hitting action is being displayed on a LCD HDTV and home theater system. As far as free entertainment goes, nothing beats football. Maybe basketball but I don’t want to get ahead of the seasons here even though pre-season ball games are upon us.

 For the time being, my focus and vocal cords are sticking to college football, NFL and a little bit of the MLB playoffs. It is hard not to watch the Angels or Dodgers on the LCD HDTV when they are the local home team. Not my home team but there are enough fans around where I live to make them feel like a neighborhood favorite. I know it’s a great game when the neighbors above are hollering over their home theater system.
