Monday night football is in overdrive right now as the San Diego Chargers ready themselves for a big offensive third down on the 3 yard line. With a touchdown just feet away, the sold out Qualcomm crowd is really booming over my friend’s home theater system. Well, it turns out, they couldn’t convert the third down but just put three on the board with a field goal. You would never know it with the crowd noise coming over the home theater. Sports are a great place to show off the chops of a home theater system because a crowd’s voice can hit the highest highs, come from all different angles and rumble the walls with deep boos. Those boos can be heard right now as the Denver kickoff receiver just ran 90 yards for the first touchdown of the night.
Between a massive LCD HDTV, home theater and great Monday night NFL game, I can’t think of anything better. Well, if a steaming plate of hot wings appeared in front of me that would make this whole experience better. Can’t complain though. Another great game to end Week 6 in the NFL.
