Last week, my best friend and I were talking about how much the home theater room has changed during the years and how much more exciting it is today. We were installing a brand new LCD HDTV in his home theater room and it got us talking about the old home theater room my parents had in the house that I grew up in and the room where him and I would spend countless hours. We started to laugh when we started reminiscing on those really old components we used to marvel about in those days. We just couldn’t believe how we survived our days in that home theater now that our home theater rooms are full of toys that were way beyond our imagination back then. In fact, when were spending long hours watching movies in those old beta players we would tell each other that life just could not get any better and man were we ever wrong. Our home theater rooms developed into something so cool, sharp and fun that it seemed to have gotten on entertainment steroids in the eighties and now it is beautifully flexing its muscle and we are loving it.
