Once again, my Garmin GPS navigation system will really come in handy for me! I plan on taking a trip by car to Long Beach come the end of this month to visit with my younger brother Douglas who lives out there. I have no idea how to travel there, and you can bet that there are no paper maps in this Garmin GPS navigation system lover’s collection. Nope. I plan on simply plugging in my ending coordinates into my Garmin GPS navigation system and allowing it to direct me to the fastest, safest and most fuel efficient route to Long Beach. According to the address that I already entered into my Garmin GPS navigation system – which was my brother’s condo on the beach – the trip should take about four or five hours. I am hoping that I can make good time, as I have heard that traffic can be insane once you get into LA. However, thanks to my Garmin GPS navigation system, if need be, surface streets will suffice once I am in the big city!
