garmin gps

One of the goals that I set for myself at the beginning of this New Year was that I would spend more time exploring the great outdoors and other parts of the United States. Granted, I've never been much of a outdoorsy kind of girl, but after some of the pictures that I've seen that my brother has shown me, I knew I'd been really missing out on some amazing countryside and adventures.

Last week I called my brother to tell him of my new goal and he was excited. Immediately he said that I should get a Garmin GPS and I piped in that I already had a Garmin GPS navigation system and why did I need that for hiking and such outdoors. He laughed and said that I needed a portable Garmin GPS so that when we were hiking the great outdoors I could keep up with where we were going and where we'd been. He told me to consider the Garmin GPS a high-tech compass, which I perfectly understood.

While I had my brother on the phone, and since he seemed to know so much about a Garmin GPS, I asked him where I could get one. Immediately he told me to turn on my computer, and to get my credit card ready because he was going to show me what I needed. He suggested that I get the Garmin Colorado 400c Portable Navigator that I found for a great price at RB Wholesale Direct  whose online store can be found by visiting www.rbwholesaledirect.com. He ordered his Garmin GPS from RB Wholesale Direct and assured me that I would be getting the absolute best that my money could buy when it comes to Garmin GPS. I placed the order, and now I guess I wait for the Garmin GPS to arrive and then I learn how to use it. My brother has already invited me to come over to start learning a little about the Garmin GPS before I get it, since he has the exact same model. I figure it can't hurt anything, plus he wants to discuss some excursions that we can take this year, plus wants me to meet up with some of his friends who also use Garmin GPS.

I can't help but wonder if this new goal of mine was one of those things that sounded better than it actually was. Remember, I'm not an outdoorsy kind of girl, but I guess at least I won't have to worry about getting lost in the woods, thanks to the GPS system.
