garmin gps Once in a while we have different activities scheduled in our family and we go our separate ways for a day or an afternoon. Yesterday was no exception and I thought that my brother and I were taking my mom to a concert 40 miles away, and the rest of the family was going hiking. They left before I did, so I wanted them to take the Garmin GPS along so they would know where they were and parked the car, which they gladly did. Normally my brother drives us, but at the last minute, he called in sick, so mom and I were stuck without a Garmin GPS. I've gotten so relaxed about getting to our destinations using our Garmin GPS and I was so unprepared to navigate to the concert without it. It was almost comical the way mom and I were guessing where to turn, what lane to be in, and where our destination actually was. After a few wrong turns, we figured out where we needed to be and got there in the nick of time, but I decided as we were walking from the parking lot that I'd buy another Garmin GPS unit so none of us would ever have to leave home without it.
